My story.
Hi, I'm Kimiko.
I love how my work as a hairstylist plays a role in people’s lives. Not only do I get to make others feel beautiful, but I get to help them truly express themselves.
Your gender, occupation, age, or role in life should not be something that holds you back… I’m ready and excited to get you looking on the outside how you truly feel on the inside!
My pursuit to become a Master Stylist began in 2009. After graduating from JCI’s Hair Art Design program, I went on to study advanced cutting and colouring at Vidal Sassoon in London, UK. After nearly a decade of doing hair, I still get excited every time I walk into the salon each morning.
My work is inspired by the calming nature of the ocean. The feeling I get when at the beach is something I try to recreate for my clients. When I'm not talking about my new favourite hair products and styling techniques, I’m relaxing on the beach. In fact, I’m going. Right now.
Spending time in a salon can be a rare treat for many people, and a chance to finally tune into some me-time. If you would like to spend your time in the chair in peace and quiet, I can accommodate a silent appointment, no questions asked!
